"My husband and I had the pleasure of using Renee for our first child. Everything was quite serendipitous for me finding her, even down to our matching names! She was very thorough and calm and very easy to talk to and get along with. We met twice before it was time to deliver and she was there as much or as little as felt comfortable for me. I loved her proactive check ins and recommendations. She made me feel comfortable with any type of question or discussions and never pressured one way or another with opinions or suggestions. She was very calm during my labor and delivery and helped guide my husband during the process as well. "So grateful for Renee, I knew as soon as we had our first conversation on the phone that she was the doula for me. I could tell that she was very knowledgeable, kind, and a great listener. She put my mind at ease when various things came up throughout my pregnancy and gave me different points of view, and options which I really appreciated. Renee was always available to chat about any questions or concerns I had, she came to my home numerous times before and after the birth of our daughter Genevieve. I had a long prodromal labor and she would check in daily just to see how I was and also to give me some advice for relief and positioning. If you are looking for a doula, look no further! She takes her time in the prenatal meetings, getting to know what you want, guide you through questions you may have, and navigate the ups and downs that can come along the way, especially in the 3rd trimester. "We couldn’t have been happier to have chosen Renee for the birth of our first son in April 2025. From the first meeting we knew that she was the perfect match for us- calm, thoughtful, attentive and extremely resourceful. She kept in close communication throughout the period, and was readily available to answer any questions we had.

As my due date approached and went by, she provided incredible emotional support reassuring me to trust my body and the natural process.

The labor ended up being extremely long and difficult. It was met with unexpected challenges, forcing us to make many difficult choices. Renee truly shined during the long labor, knowing exactly how to help in each changing moment and providing physical and emotional comfort. When we had to deviate from our original birth plan, she helped us navigate through our decision making, knowing what is most important for us- and we ended up having a successful vaginal delivery of a healthy boy!

"My husband and I are so happy we chose to have Renee be a part of our baby’s birth. When first doing our research, we weren't really sure if we would need a doula for our home birth, but we’re so glad we decided to work with Renee! Prior to the birth of our baby, Renee came to our house on two separate occasions to meet with us and answer any questions we had. She gave many helpful recommendations for supplements, exercises, and questions to ask our midwives. Leading up to my due date, Renee would check in on a weekly basis. As soon as my contractions began, I notified Renee. She followed up every few hours to see how I was doing and progressing. She let me know at what point she wanted to come to our house and begin supporting both myself and my husband. I texted her at 3 a.m. when contractions began to pick-up and she was over less than an hour later. Renee was calm throughout labor, reminding my husband and I to eat, drink, and rest as much as possible. During active labor, Renee was by our side the whole time applying pressure and giving tips to my husband for how to help. Renee was responsive to any and all feedback I gave her during my labor. After our baby was born, Renee stayed with us for a few hours to make sure my husband, baby, and I were comfortable. Renee checked in every few hours to make sure everything was going well, and when I told her I was struggling with getting my baby to latch, she quickly referred me to someone who could help. Renee visited a few days after the birth with our encapsulated placenta and continued to check in daily for the next week. Renee was worth her weight in gold. "I loved having Renee as my doula and would highly recommend her to anyone interested in using one!  Renee exudes a very friendly, warm, comfortable vibe which I think plays a big part in what makes her a great doula.  From our first phone conversation to our postpartum visit, she did a great job at making me feel heard and understood and was never pushy with her own agenda.  She let me decide exactly what I wanted out of this birth and I feel like I got it, 100%.  I felt great knowing that she has had years of experience being a doula and it showed the more we spoke with all the questions I bounced off of her.  I chose to use Renee as I wanted to have a natural birth, specifically a water birth, for the first time (I had an epidural with my first child) so I wanted that extra layer of comfort and guidance while in labor (for myself and my husband).  I couldn't be happier with how my water birth went and I truly think it went so smooth because I had her by my side and was able to be more relaxed and comfortable during my labor.  Although my time at the birthing center was rather short and I had labored mostly at home, I think it all worked out so well because of her guidance.  I would highly recommend her to anyone who is looking for a doula, but especially to someone who is going for a natural medicine free birth for the first time and would like the extra support to get through." "When I set out to find a doula, Renee came highly recommended. We didn’t know what we were looking for but when we met her we knew she was the right choice for us immediately.
